11:30   Visit at the “Local Museum of Ancient Idalion” with the Director, Department of Antiquities Dr.Maria Hadjicosti who made most of Idalion’s excavations

13:00   Launch at Idalion

17:00   Meeting of the representatives of each country about the Final results and Final report

19:00   Final dinner party of ACT - How to make Cypriot souvla and many more food and drink surprises!

7η συνάντηση των εταίρων του προγράμματος " Αρχαίες πόλεις και ο ρόλος του στο σημερινό πολιτισμό"

Η Συνάντηση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις πόλεις Alicante και Cocentaina από τις 20 έως τις 24 Απρίλη 2012. Το πρόγραμμα της συνάντησης είναι:

21 MARCH

10:00–Guided visit at the MARQ Provincial Archaeology Museum. http://www.marqalicante.com 12:00 –Guided visit to Lucentum Archaeological Site, located just 3 kilometres away from the city centre, in the area known as Tossal de Manises, are the major archaeological remains of the Roman city of Lucentum, or ancient Alicante. 16:00–Visit to Illeta dels Banyets, one of the most known and earliest excavated archaeological sites of Alicante. It is located in the municipality of Campello, about 9 kilometres away from the city of Alicante. 16:30 – Visit to Altea, one of the most charming towns to be found on Spain’s ‘White Coast’, located in the region of Alicante. The old section is perched on top of a hill from where you will find really spectacular views. (about 20 m. by bus).18:30 – Departure to Cocentaina (about 1,5 hours).

22 MARCH

10:00–Guided visit in Cocentaina’s old town, the Vila and the Raval. 11:00–Visit to the Comtal Palace. 12:00–Visit to the Ethnological Museum. 13:30–Official reception in the Town-Hall by the local authorities. 16:30– Working session: presentations and discussion about the results of the project in the school FPA The topic is : “Ancient languages in today's world “ , Beniassent in Muro. 19:30– Free time for visiting the town of Muro

23 MARCH

11:00–Guided tour walking through the old city center of Valencia.14:00– Lunch in Valencia’s old city center. 16:30–Panoramic tour of the city by bus visiting the main sites of the city outside the old historical center. 17:30– Departure to Cocentaina.

Departure to Alicante’s airport.
